1. Introduction to Our Quality Standards
At Green Flash Energy, we engineer, procure, and construct high-performance solar infrastructure designed to operate efficiently for decades. Because we utilize strictly Tier-1 components and rigorous engineering standards, we back our installations with robust, multi-layered manufacturer and workmanship warranties. This policy outlines the coverage terms protecting your investment across residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar portfolios.
2. Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Module Warranties
The solar panels integrated into our Rooftop Solar Systems, Ground Mount installations, and Solar Parks carry dual-tier manufacturer warranties:
- Product & Material Warranty (10–12 Years): Covers any manufacturing defects, micro-cracks resulting from factory faults, junction box failures, or premature degradation beyond acceptable manufacturing tolerances.
- Linear Power Output Warranty (Up to 25 Years): Guarantees that PV modules will maintain a high performance threshold over 25 years. Typically, modules are warranted to retain at least 97% of their rated output in the first year, with a controlled annual degradation rate, ensuring performance levels remain above 80% to 83% at the conclusion of Year 25.
3. Inverter and Power Conditioning Unit Warranties
Inverters are the central nervous system of your solar power plant. We collaborate with globally recognized inverter manufacturers to provide:
- Standard manufacturer warranties spanning from 5 to 10 years, depending on the chosen inverter topology (string inverters, central inverters, or micro-inverters).
- Optional warranty extension programs available during initial system design and contracting phases.
4. EPC Workmanship & Installation Warranty (5 Years)
Beyond individual component warranties, Green Flash Energy provides a comprehensive 5-year workmanship warranty. This covers the physical installation integrity of:
- Structural mounting systems, tracker mechanisms (such as single-axis solar trackers), and civil foundations.
- DC and AC cabling, cable trays, conduit routing, and weather-proofing integrity.
- Switchgears, protection panels, earthing systems, and lightning arrestors.
5. Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover failures or performance degradation caused by unauthorized third-party modifications, physical vandalism, natural disasters (force majeure events such as severe floods or unseasonal structural hazards outside engineering parameters), or failure to follow prescribed O&M guidelines.
